Pulling down strongholds
Strong holds are described as defended arguments, conceited reasoning and things that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. We understand that these are the strongholds the god of this age has set up to blind the minds of those who do not believe . The unsaved world is held captive by these strongholds which the bible calls ‘unbelief’ that deny the existence of God and His holy word. In this message we look at the church’s mandate and spiritual reality of how these strong holds can and are pulled down and demolished by the living Word of God.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
2 Cor 4:3-4
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ . 2 Cor 10:3-5
